- The next step in technology changing how we write is its ability to provide writers instant feedback. Medium is a step in that direction (instant feedback via hearts) and a service like Steemit in another step (instant feedback via money). I’m not certain that instant feedback will have the positive impact on writing that typewriters had, but it’s impact is an inevitability just like typewriters were imo.
